My First Lazada Online Shopping Experience

Lazada is like Amazon here in the Philippines where you can go through their website, register, choose a product to buy, and wait it at your own comfortable house within a few days. The best part is you can pay it via cash on delivery. Isn’t it convincing? Yes it is and I’m convinced.

So I lurked on the site checking on items that are on sale (Good thing they have this September sale going on which you can see all items that are cheap and are on sale) or maybe these items are always on sale. So I found this Sandisk Cruzer Orbit USB, an 8Gb USB priced at 184 pesos. That is pretty cheap I guess so I ordered it.

Lazada Philippines Experience

What I didn’t know at first is that for orders below or equal to 1000 pesos, a shipping fee will be applied. An extra 55 pesos for Manila area and 99 php for non-metro areas. So my supposed to be cheap item priced at 184 will be priced at 284 which is I think the normal price of the item or even more expensive. Anyways, I was curious if how long would it take for them to deliver the item to me.

I’m expecting to receive it within 5-7 days because I’m from a non-metro area (about 3 hours drive to Manila).  I’m impressed that I got it within just 2 days. They also provided timely text and calls which is really good.

Things pretty went smooth with Lazada and I think I’ll be ordering again anytime soon.
